• Age: 6 8/22/20

• Height/Weight: 21.5” 55 lbs

• Vaccinations: Up to date

• Health: Story is fully health tested, with passing results for hips, elbows, and eyes. She also completed a genetic panel through Canine HealthCheck. Results are available upon request.

  Story has had a bark-softening procedure. She can still bark, but her bark is quieter and doesn’t carry as far.

• Training: House trained, crate and leash trained, basic obedience, travels well, good manners in public, good off leash recall, easy grooming and nails.

Story’s Personality:

Story is a happy-go-lucky, affectionate Australian Shepherd with the most loving heart. She’s smart, loyal, and good with kids, small dogs, and other animals. At home, she’s my little shadow. She’ll lie at my feet while I’m busy, and the second I sit down, she’ll climb into my lap or inch closer until we’re touching. She gives the warmest hugs and has a happy smile I’m going to miss.

Story loves a good game of fetch, and if she finds water, she jumps right in. She’s joined me on desert hikes and four-wheeling trips, and she’s a wonderful rockhounding buddy. She likes to explore right alongside me and stays close while I look for rocks. At the end of the day, she’s just as happy curled up with me on the couch.

Story is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and she travels well. I can see her fitting into a lot of different homes, especially one where she gets regular time to play outside and gets to be part of everyday family life.

Story could be happy with a family, a couple, or someone looking for a loyal sidekick. She’s good with kids, small dogs, and other animals, and she’d love a home where she gets to be part of everyday life. A game of fetch in the yard, a swim, or a day out rockhounding would all make her happy. When it’s time to settle in, she’ll be just as content at your feet or tucked up beside you on the couch.
