About Story:

• Age: 10/14/21

• Height/Weight: 21.5” 55 lbs

• Vaccinations: Up to date

• Health: Roomie is fully health tested, with passing results for hips, elbows, and eyes. He is clear panel through parentage and testing through Gensol. Results are available upon request.

  Roomie has had a bark-softening procedure. He can still bark, but her bark is quieter and doesn’t carry as far.

• Training: House trained, crate and leash trained, basic obedience, travels well, good manners in public, good off leash recall, easy grooming and nails.

Roomie’s Personality:

Roomie is a 5-year-old AKC- and ASCA-registered Australian Shepherd. He’s sweet, calm, and easy to live with. He gets along well with other dogs and loves meeting people. He never jumps up on anyone and asks for affection so politely. He adores kids and is a gentle cuddler and playmate, even with the little ones.

Roomie is quiet around the house and usually quiet outside, too, unless the deer show up while he’s running around the yard. Then he has a little something to say. He loves going for walks, visiting people, and tagging along on hikes and four-wheeling trips. Give him a chance to splash around or go for a swim and he’s a happy boy.

More than anything, Roomie just wants to be included. He’d love a home where he can be part of the everyday stuff, come along on adventures, and get some good cuddles when everyone settles in.

The Right Home for Roomie:

Roomie is resilient and adaptable, and I can see him fitting into just about any lifestyle. He’s gentle with young kids, gets along well with other dogs, and would be just as happy with a family as he would with a couple or someone looking for a buddy to take places. His favorite thing is being included, whether that means a walk around the neighborhood, a visit with friends, or a weekend of hiking and swimming. At home, he’s happy to settle in and politely ask for a little love.
