🌟 Meet Isla! 🌟
Are you looking for a loyal and loving companion who’s already trained and ready to fit into your life? Vienna could be your girl! Our happy 1 year old girl is ready to retire and join a loving family. 🐾
About Isla:
DOB: 04/24/2025
Height/Weight: 17” 28 lbs
Vaccinations: Up to date
Health: Parents health tested and passing for hips, elbows, eyes, and genetic panel.
Training: House trained, crate and leash trained, basic obedience training, travels well, good manners in public, good off leash recall, easy grooming and nails.
Isla’s Personality: Isla is a happy-go-lucky, well-mannered young dog with a great balance of playfulness and affection. She is crate trained, potty trained, and settles nicely both overnight and when left home alone.
She loves toys and can often be found digging through the toy basket to find her favorites. Isla enjoys playing fetch and tug, and she plays well with other dogs, sharing toys and engaging in fun, respectful play.
Her energy level is moderate, with a slightly more active and playful side due to her age. She enjoys roughhousing and being silly with other dogs and kids, but she remains gentle and polite in her interactions. She is food motivated, enjoys learning, and has a natural drive to engage, making her fun to train and work with.
Isla is friendly and confident with new people and greets with a happy, open demeanor (and often a few kisses). She has a nice, balanced temperament and settles well after play or activity.
The Right Home for Isla: Isla would do well in a variety of homes but will thrive with an owner who is willing to continue her training and provide structure as she matures.
She can be placed as an only dog or with other compatible dogs. If placed as a solo dog, regular opportunities for play and social interaction with familiar dogs are important. We do not recommend dog parks or interactions with unfamiliar dogs for safety reasons.
Isla is wonderful with children and has a gentle, tolerant nature. As with any dog, interactions should be supervised, especially with younger children. She can be goofy.
Her ideal home is one that will engage with her both mentally and physically. She enjoys walks, outings, hiking, and exploring, but does not require excessive daily exercise. She is a great fit for an active individual or family who wants a dog to include in their daily life.
She could be a good fit for a first-time dog owner who is committed to continuing her training and providing consistent guidance.
Reason Isla is Available: Isla was held back as a potential addition to our program, but ultimately we do not feel she is the right fit for our future direction.
She has not been bred and will be placed on a spay agreement, to be completed at the appropriate age.
